The Answers You’ve Been Needing

Questions & Answers

I only want a very small quantity - do you have a minimum order quantity?

If it’s a general type of polybag or sheeting we can usually supply the amount you want whether it’s small or bulk quantity, with our extensive stock range we can usually find something exact or close to the specification required.

If it’s more specialist, e.g. a particularly small or large bag, specific colour and print then we would work out the minimum quantity for bespoke manufacture.

I need some printed carriers for an exhibition,  I only want a small quantity

and I need them quickly,  how soon can I have them?

Our minimum quantity for standard retail size is only 1,000 and our fast-track service guarantees a lead time from approval of artwork within 10 working days, there is an extra charge for this, please ask for details.

I’m considering using Recycled Polythene (RGPE) what's the difference in

quality compared to VirgiPE?

There’s no difference in thickness however Virgin has better tensile strength being a single batch rather than a multi-batch polymer product. RGPE is suitable for most uses apart from food use, it is ideal for rubble sacks, dust collector bags, general waste sacks, builders sheeting, refuse sacks compactor sacks and pallet hoods.

RCPE affect the clarity of the polythene?

Recycled polythene, depending on the thickness, is usually slightly cloudier.

Is it compatible with Food Grade specifications?

Recycled polythene should not be used if it would have direct contact with food products, as the ‘raw material’ source cannot always be confirmed and is therefore deemed unfit for food or medical use.

I need a bespoke bag, can you make samples for testing purposes?

We can make samples for trialling usually within 3 working days.

Is there a charge associated with making up a sample bag?

This service is free of charge to our existing customers. Non-customers pay a nominal fee of £10 + carriage (excl. VAT).
